Pet Approves wants this site to be usable by as many people as possible, including people using assistive technology.
Our standard
We target the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We are at partial conformance today, and no independent accessibility audit has been performed on this site.
We do not use an accessibility overlay widget. We would rather fix real issues in the site itself than paper over them with a plugin.
Known gaps
We would rather list what still needs work than claim a clean bill of health.
- Product image alt text. This site includes 173 Amazon-hosted product images. We have not verified alt text on all of them at scale, so some may be missing or incomplete.
- Skip-to-content link. Our homepage does not currently have a skip-to-content link for keyboard and screen reader users.

If any part of this site is hard to use with assistive technology, email us and describe the issue. We will acknowledge your message within 2 business days and aim for a substantive response within 10 business days.
