Which programs we are in
Today, Pet Approves participates in one affiliate program: Amazon Associates. We do not currently have a partnership with any other retailer.
If that changes, we will name the new program here and update this page. We will never fold a new affiliate program into the site quietly.
Editorial independence
Gunner Vance, our author, buys and tests the products he reviews. No brand pays for placement or a better rating on this site.
If a product breaks or fails his testing, he says so, whether or not it earns us a commission.
How we choose what to review
Gunner buys and tests the products he covers himself. He has owned several of most product types, watched them wear out or fail, then spent a focused day researching what is available now.
That mix of hands-on ownership and fresh research decides what makes the list, not who pays the most commission.

Prices and stock shown on a retailer’s site can change at any time. What you see when you click through is whatever the retailer is showing at that moment.
We do not control those numbers and cannot guarantee the price you saw in our review will match what you see on the retailer’s page. A product marked in stock in our review can sell out or change price the same day.
